  • Immunisations - travel, population, childhood, occupational etc.
  • Screening programmes - cervical smears etc.
  • Health promotion - Making every consultation count. Smoking cessation.
  • Phlebotomy, ECGs, 24 hour ABPMs, PFTs.
  • Weight management.
  • Women's health / Men's health.
  • Antenatal & postnatal care visits.
  • Wound management.
  • Minor procedures - ear syringing, cryotherapy, LARC.
  • Counselling - unseen, unquantifiable but invaluable.
  • CDM.
  • Clinical audits.
  • IM injections - LARC, mental health, B12 etc.
  • Practice  clinical protocols.
  • Triage.
  • Managing stock / equipment incl emergency trolley.
  • CPR training.
  • Educational role.
  • Ad hoc duties - chaperoning, assisting etc.

Nurses must also comply with ABA CPD requirements.
